Paul and Paulette Rewitzer Obituary, HANSKA, Minn. — Paul Rewitzer, 73, and Paulette Rewitzer, 74, of Hanska, Minnesota, died following a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Brown County Road 13.
The fatal collision occurred shortly after midnight just north of Brown County Road 22. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the serious crash and dispatched deputies to the scene.
Brown County Deputy Erik Byro was among the first responders to arrive. At the scene, deputies found two heavily damaged vehicles, identified as a Chevy Silverado and an Oldsmobile.
The driver of the Silverado was identified as 28-year-old Shianne Lee Escobar of Hanska. According to the information provided, Escobar was found standing outside the Oldsmobile when Deputy Byro arrived at the scene.
Inside the Oldsmobile, deputies found Paul and Paulette Rewitzer. Both were pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Their deaths have left family members, friends and others in the Hanska community mourning their sudden loss.
