Brock J. Roark Obituary, DELTA, Ala. — Brock J. Roark, 34, of Delta, Alabama, and a 13-year-old juvenile from Villa Rica, Georgia, have died following an ATV crash in Clay County on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Good Hope Delta Road near Crutchfield Drive, about seven miles southwest of the Delta city limits. The incident resulted in the loss of two lives and has left their families and communities mourning.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Roark was operating a 2025 Can-Am Outlander 850 ATV when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Roark was thrown from the ATV and sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding emergency personnel.
The 13-year-old passenger from Villa Rica was also thrown from the ATV during the crash. The child was transported to an area hospital for treatment but later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Roark, 34, is being remembered following a life that was cut short by the devastating crash. The young passenger likewise lost a life that had many years ahead. Their deaths have brought grief to those who knew them and to the communities connected to them.
